EMF FIRE was brought in to redesign & replace the existing high-pressure CO2 fire extinguishing system along with operation interfaces to the generator units control and shutdown functions and incorporated the N.F.P.A 12 retrofit safety upgrades. As the Fire Protection Contractor at Southern California Edison Eastern Generation operations, we provide the inspections, testing, and maintenance of all the fire suppression systems, fire alarms, & water-based fire protection systems. For the Ivanpah Solar Generators Project EMF FIRE was brought in as a Design-build contractor to provide a site-wide fire alarm system for the Administration building and the three Plant Services buildings. The Fire alarm system was networked together to provide site-wide coverage while integrating the FM-200 and Pre-action detection and control functions. EMF Fire also installed a FM-200 Fire Suppression system for each of the building’s control rooms, electrical rooms, and battery rooms.
